"Ace Combat ERA" -- GELB-1
Outline
Ace Combat Zero Squadron Week (http://www.gamingforce.com/forums/community-commons/5402-ace-combat-zero-squadron-week.html) was started by Tails on May 6, 2006, in Community Commons. The idea was to have users sign up to have their names changed to the callsigns of the Ustian and Belkan Aces. Sigs were the squadrons' emblems and avatars were taken from in-game screenshots of the squadrons.
The "official" end to the week is on May 19, but many have agreed to keep the chain going as long as it stays fun.

The Second Age
In order to combat the evil forces of the second coming of GFF MySpace Week, the Belkan and Ustian Air Forces were once again called into service (http://www.gamingforce.com/forums/community-commons/13510-ace-combat-era-mark-2-belka-strikes-back.html). Their return was even more fearsome than their campaigns during the beginning of the ERA for two reasons, the addition of two high-ranking military officials to the commanding posts of SCHWARZE Squadron and the surprise appearance of RAZGRIZ Squadron of the Osean Air Force.

Mark III - The Return of Belka
To celebrate the release of Ace Combat 6 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ace_Combat_6) on October 23, 2007, the Belkan Air Force was once again called into action (http://www.gamingforce.org/forums/community-commons/26049-ace-combat-era-mark-iii-return-belka.html), this time with a little help from squadrons both new and old. The STRIGON Squadron and GARUDA Team from AC6, SCARFACE-1 from Ace Combat 2, and GRYPHUS-1 from Ace Combat X (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ace_Combat_X) all joined the ranks. In addition to new pilots, several older members of the B.A.F. who had gone MIA were honorably discharged (with the exception of Gechmir, who leaves the ranks with a dishonorable discharge) and replaced with new wings.
The operation (OP. CHANDELIER) commenced on November 1, 2007, and was successfully concluded the morning of November 13, 2007.
