Archiver joined GFF with a wave of people who came here from FinalRob's VGM Dungeon in the summer of 2001. The account was originally shared with 3 of his flatmates, but eventually came to be owned solely by Archiver.
Archiver lived in Scotland and worked in some capacity at a library or think-tank. He was romantically involved with Angel-Eyes for a while.
He is currently unbanned, and posts as SpeakOfTheDevil.
Personality
Highly intelligent and highly abrasive. His perceived superiority over the common denizens of the internet put him in constant conflict with staff and members alike.

Drama
In the summer of 2001, Pink (as AmyRose in those days) ran an FTP that was full of ROMs and Emulators. Archiver downloaded an emulator, and found a virus in it. Archiver mentioned the virus in Pink's thread, and he denied that there was one. This led to pages of drama, and a Pink comic about Virii (someone out there must have a copy). Somewhere in all this, Archie got himself temporarily banned.
In April 2002, he returned to the board, and immediately began trolling and baiting staff. One of the most infamous incidents was a fight with San in a thread where she wanted help with her writing assignment -- this led to the ban on Homework Help threads. In May 2002, staff voted unanimously to ban him for 1 month. At that time, there were no active admins, and Bobo's banning policy required a staff vote to implement.
Projects/Achievements
Had quite a library of VGM, and would upload it to the FTPs in the My Stuff forum.
