2006:

• "Sadly, not everyone who registers here at GFF is the sort of person we want posting here. Some people are clearly doomed from the start, their Welcome thread alone being enough to irk the membership and their GFF life cut short in its prime. Some people have been thorns in the side for a while and are eventually removed when their presence becomes too much for us all to bear any more and some people explode in spectacular fashion, coming from nowhere and suddenly creating a string of dupes to call the staff member who banned them names.
  
  So what in your eyes was the best ban handed out this year? By best ban, we mean most appreciated and deserved, rather than necessarily the execution of the ban (Although do by all means give that some consideration). It doesn't have to be a perma-ban but I suspect those who have got themselves permanently removed will be more deserving of the title." -- Lord Styphon
