Dark America
From GFWiki
Dark America is the highly-anticipated sophmore album from Southern hip-hop artist Disgruntled Negro (a.k.a. Night Phoenix), slated to be released on September 11, 2007 under his own label, Flowman Entertainment in conjunction with Russ Cain Productions. Primarily produced by producer Russ Cain, the album is a startling departure from his debut project, The Blackest Man Alive LP, released in 2005.
The album will feature appearances from Lyzation, LB, Boro, Ness Lee, Point Game, Vincent Lane, and Showstoppa.
The first single is the XV-produced track called "I'm Somethin' Like That" featuring Lyzation. It has been leaked on the internet and can be heard on his Myspace page. A CD maxi single featuring this song, a snippet of the Russ Cain-produced remix, and the tracks "Blackest Man Alive", "UnderRated" and "Kingz of the Game" (featuring Naughty Boi & Maintain) will be released on March 20, 2007.
The album was originally scheduled to be released on December 5, 2007 but a dispute with Disgruntled Negro's former record label prevented the album from releasing as scheduled.
