DevilGlobox

From GFWiki

Everything in this entry is the complete truth, despite what its subject would want you to think.

DevilGlobox really, really likes the Kirby Air Ride OST. In January, 2004, he tried to get this from TubeRacer's FTP, but he couldn't follow the rules and hence was banned. Also almost started a forum war (http://www.gamingforce.com/gffarchive/showthread.php?p=553678#post553678) with Kirby's Rainbow Resort Forums (no longer exists) and GFF. DevilGlobox's accusations of TubeRacer's crimes eventually reached the point where he was telling people on other forums that TubeRacer was planning to murder his family.

He made dozens of dupe accounts, each trying to get DevilGlobox unbanned, flaming TubeRacer and frantically searching for the Kirby Air Ride OST. Since he mentioned DevilGlobox in basically EVERY post he made under the dupes, it wasn't hard to ban them. Unfortunately, he used a dynamic IP range, so an IP ban wasn't possible.

Most prominent among his many dupe accounts were ChaoLoverand (http://www.gamingforce.com/gffarchive/member.php?userid=17365) Meta Wheelie (http://www.gamingforce.com/gffarchive/member.php?userid=17493). The majority of the others were never activated for posting, and so their activity was limited to whining in journals (an example of such, and the verbal beating he recieved in reply, is preserved here (http://mywebpages.comcast.net/Miles_Prower/emerlentry.htm)). Since these accounts never posted, they were likely deleted in a purge of zero posters and are lost forever.

Anyone wanting to refresh themselves on DevilGlobox should give this thread (http://www.gamingforce.com/gffarchive/showthread.php?t=28291) by TubeRacer a read.

DevilGlobox at the current GFF

Despite being permanently banned, as well as the fact that nobody likes him, DevilGlobox has never actually left GFF, and remains to leech VGM and harass people creating a new dupe account each time the current one is discovered and banned. His raging hatred for TubeRacer eventually evaporated, but it has found new targets.

DevilGlobox revealed his presence at the new GFF in June of 2006 protesting the permanent banning of Arc for spam under the name MurraySkull (http://www.gamingforce.com/forums/member.php?u=925). This was a mistake on his part, as he used the same easily-identified writing style as DevilGlobox and his previous incarnations, and his MurraySkull account was permanently banned.

Not to be deterred, DevilGlobox came back and protested that the ban of MurraySkull was illegitimate, since MurraySkull was not DevilGlobox. This argument was easily destroyed by examining the writing style, as well as the fact that DevilGlobox and MurraySkull registered using the same e-mail account (kevlee@sbcglobal.net), but DevilGlobox persisted and vowed revenge on Gamingforce, and on Lord Styphon in particular.

At around the same time, an invasion of GFF was attempted by certain denizens of 4chan's /b/ board. This invasion was repulsed, but the /b/tards in question retreated to a temporary forum (since erased for Terms of Service violations) to plan to strike again later. DevilGlobox soon arrived, pleading his case and dedicating himself to the cause of destroying Gamingforce and showing Lord Styphon whatfor. This only resulted in him making himself look silly(er), as several GFF members took advantage of the board's anonymous posting ability to appropriate the MurraySkull name he was using but hadn't registered (the name was later registered by NYRSkate) and copy his posting style. It should be noted that the /b/tards made no attempt to rescue DevilGlobox.

Eventually, after too many posts of "Please disregard the previous post; it is NOT mine!" to remember, /b/-related activity died and everyone went their seperate ways. For DevilGlobox, this meant registering as many dupe accounts as possible in an attempt to make himself as obnoxious as possible, apparently in the belief that doing so would somehow hasten GFF's demise. Activities undertaken by him include:

  • Protesting bans of the most useless members in the same manner as he protested his own bans (most recently rising to the defense of an asian hoe wannabe (http://www.gamingforce.com/forums/member.php?u=12858)).
  • Occasionally recreating crappy threads moderators have closed because the moderators didn't obtain permission to close them first (interestingly, the two times he did this, the moderator in question was Crash Landon; just what this represents is anyone's guess).
  • Trolling Lord Styphon at every opportunity he gets.
  • Aiding Sarah and his merry band of ripthieves at ffshrine (http://www.ffshrine.org/).
  • Vandalizing GFWiki (http://gfw.condign.org/wiki/Main_Page).

As DevilGlobox is one of the most immature people on the Internet (no mean feat), and shows no signs of ever growing up, it is likely that GFF will have to put up with his childish antics for the forseeable future.

Has lately come under the impression that deleting this page makes the truth about him go away.

Growing from annoyance to actual problem

On November 19-20, 2006, FTP owners complained to Lord Styphon that someone using his name was attacking their FTPs, hammering in one case and attempting to upload viruses in others. Using IP addresses provided by them, it was revealed that DevilGlobox was the culprit.
