History

Started when a new member, wvtn, made two simple posts, consisting of "I thought the scene in FF7 where Aeris died was sad...." and "I absolutey LOVED FF7 it was so fun the music was so nice.!!!." Judging by the awesome intelligence shown by these two posts, Aperama made a joke suggesting that wvtn run for president. At the same time, StarmanDX noticed that Talbain was using a "Jon Talbain for President" avatar and signature, and came up with the idea to run the two of them against each other. Aperama and StarmanDX acted as campaign managers for wvtn, who was always "too busy" to make an appearance, while Talbain and his runningmate Lord Styphon were present to run their campaign.

Outcome

Talbain and Lord Styphon won with 43 votes to wvtn's 28.

wvtn never made an appearance throughout the thread, and never made any acknowledgement of its existence even after coming back to the boards. He was later permanently banned.
