This would be the place where all other topics go. You want to see what other members are using as their desktop? Maybe you want to talk about the latest diaster to strike your area? Perhaps the weather locally is substantially conversation worthy? Maybe you have an interesting news article? Well, maybe not - if your article is particularly controversial, it usually ends up in the Political Palace. But it was worth a shot!

Spam and advertising is however NOT TOLERATED, despite the "everything else" attitude regarding General Discussion. So don't bother trying. Chances are the staff will have some fun with you.

Moderator Overload

When new moderators are brought on staff, they are always assigned General Discussion as one of the forums to moderate. Because of this, General Discussion usually has the most assigned moderators of any forum.

After the latest round of new moderators, however, forum assignments underwent a major reshuffling. As a result, General Discussion's number of assigned moderators has been drastically reduced and it currently has four, the same number as forums such as Political Palace, Community Commons, Animespot and The Sewers.
