2006:
- "Much like individual posts, individual journal entries can catch the imagination independent of the journal they are posted in, even if they may be harder to remember as time goes on. They could be funny, interesting, or generated an excellent series of comments.
Which journal entry do you think was the best one this year?" (Links are required, and as such, this award to public entries. We can't judge something we can't see, afterall.) -- Lord Styphon

- "Ah, the journals, hotbed of angst, faggotry and drama, far beyond the level we see on the main board. It never ceases to amaze me some of the crap people put in their journals on a regular basis. That's not to say it's all rubbish though, there are a lot of good entries and one or two are spectacular.
This award, as the name suggests, goes to the one individual journal entry that you thought was the best this year. Give a link to the entry in your nomination and quote it in the post too so we don't all have to go hunting for it. Journal fags note that if half the board is banned from your journal then you're unlikely to pick up many votes. Then again, you're unlikely to get nominated anyway." -- Shin
