Yearly Descriptions
2004:
- "Let's not lie. The annual awards are something of a glorified popularity contest. Though everyone can participate, not everyone is able to hold out as much hope for an Award. There's nothing wrong with these people, their personalities are simply more low-key. They don't stand out like the Pangs and Musharrafs. But they're here every day, making steady, solid contributions, knowing better than to try to steal the spotlight for themselves. They're not hiding in obscurity; if someone mentions their name, most of us recognize them. They're just not on the tip of the community's tongue, that's all.
Which member provides the most solid, worthy contributions to Gamingforce but never seems to get the name recognition they may otherwise deserve? Think carefully, the answers aren't obvious this time." -- Crash Landon
