- "Despite the harbingers of doom declaring that GFF's PPD is falling off the radar, we still have hundreds of posts here every day. Some are good, some are bad. Some are funny, some profound. Some friendly, some scathing, some enlightening and some are quite frankly, bizarre.
Sometimes though, a post comes along that raises the bar in its particular field. A post that gets quoted for months, that draws people into a thread, even though they might never have posted in that particular forum before. These are the posts that can raise a newbie to stardom or cement the reputation of an established member.
So what was the best post this year? It might be one that had you literally rolling on the floor laughing, it might be one that put someone in their place with no chance of a comeback, it might be a profound moment of openess or simply a stunning piece of writing.

- "As I write this there are 515,821 posts on these boards. Over half a million posts, that represents a horrendous waste of productive time collectively...
Some of the posts are funny, some are insightful, some thought provoking and some are asking for a copy of the FFVII OST. Amongst this sea of posts are some real gems. Posts that make you quite literally ROTFLSHISMP, posts crafted with a Dickensian level of litary talent, posts with put-downs that would make a sailor blush, posts that bring a tear to your eye and posts that just scream "Prop me".
But there can be only one winner, only one post can truly lay claim to being the best. You must decide which it is this year, simple as that. Please quote the post in your nomination (Unless it contains Sewers-level pictures of course in which case, just a link will do cheers)." -- Shin
