Team Awesome

Team AWESOME—the remnants of the now defunct Kitsune Squad—is a small cadre of Gamingforce Interactive Forums members lead by Tails. The group has no true primary objectives, and tend to ad lib all forum ops.

History
The Beginning
During March 2005, Tails decided to show his massive appreciation for Ace Combat 2 by making several references to the game across the board. Shortly afterwards the Anti Ace Combat 2 squad —lead by AcerBandit and Miles— began a campaign to stop Tails and his new partner, Ronz. This quickly erupted into a short lived feud between Tronz and the Anti Ace Combat 2 squad. As the feud heated to indecent levels, Lord Styphon was quick to lay down his authority and put a stop to all Ace Combat 2 related activity.
Mortal Kombat
In the Fall of 2005, Colonel Skills re-introduced Tails to the insanely catchy Mortal Kombat the Movie (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0113855/) theme song, which began to spread like wildfire through the two's posts in the journal system. Ronz joined in and chaos ensued as confusion spread among other members who were without a clue about what was going on. A challenge to the hilarity value of Mortal Kombat was soon issued by Pangalin, and a huge Sewers dramafest erupted, mainly composed of various one-liners and Mortal Kombat references.
In an attempt at being witty, Staff had the words "Mortal" and "Kombat" wordfiltered into a replacement of "Disregard that, I suck cocks" for each letter in either word. Eager to cause chaos and further push their agenda, Tronz and Colonel Skills quickly took to abusing the newfound wordfilter. Threads and posts containing the phrase were spread, and Qwarky tried to step in to stop the madness, only to end up adding fuel to the fire. IdleChill joined the troop of three, and the wordfilter was removed before the end of the night.
This short series of events lead to the official birth of Team Awesome.
Drama
Team BANNED
Following a slump in forum activity and a small round of Chocojournal related Drama in October 2005, Tails decided to post with a dupe account in an attempt to get noticed by Staff. The other Team Awesome members were quick to join in as Tails was smacked with a one-week ban by Staff. Confusion and mockery began across the boards following the bans, however, staff was quick to open negotiations to discover the true reason for Team Awesome's actions. Staff relations were handled by Colonel Skills, and it is currently unknown whether their attempt at change for GFF will work.
It should be noted that GFF went down less than two days after Team Awesome was banned. Whether or not this is coincidental is still unknown. As a result, when the forums returned on 16 October, the bans were extended another five days to "make up" for the downtime.
Team ASSHOLES
On 1/17/06, after months of inactivity, Team Awesome made their first strike in the new year. Due to technical issues, members IdleChill and Ronz were unavailable for this mission. Colonel Skills and Tails took to several (http://www.gamingforce.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81799) threads (http://www.gamingforce.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81809) with the specific intent of starting as much shit as possible. Hilarity ensued. There was also a brief dispute (http://www.gamingforce.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1646130#post1646130) in the Ban Discussion thread following Rasputins ban at the hands of Lord Styphon. Allegations and accusations were thrown around shortly after about the overall merits of certain posters, but it is quite obvious what the real conclusion is: Skills is the FUCKING MAN.
Team JUSTICE
Team JUSTICE is an expanded faction of Team Awesome, inspired by the scene change sound effect (http://spcows.ae2t.net/gff/gonggong.mp3) from Law & Order (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Law_%26_Order). On the night of December 7, 2005, Colonel Skills, Merv Burger and Tails all began to joke about how awesome that sound would be in real life on IRC. Merv supplied a .wav file for an IRC alert noise, and the three were shortly joined by Ronz and peeack in their HILARITY ADVENTURES. The group of 5 would be known as the JUSTICE TEAM from then on.
Their primary objective is to serve up obscene amounts of JUSTICE on the forums, the most notable cases involving trolling the fuck out of retarded members and/or threads. Many laughs are had by all as wacky shenanigans spread from thread to thread, journal to journal, and even onto IRC.
There is an "ongoing" trial (http://www.gamingforce.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81551) on the forums, inspired by this theme.
Team SERIS SUCKS
Shortly following the revival of GFF in March of '06, questions were raised over Pom's absence from the forums, and Team Awesome came under fire for "scaring off another member." The main perpetrator behind this whining was Seris, who called out the team in the POM? (http://www.gamingforce.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1142) thread. The call to battle was quickly answered, and even non-team members such as Diss, Xardion, Lacerta, and Ritley came forth in defense of Team Awesome's GLORY. Although the thread was closed by Lord Styphon, the overwhelming victory for the team was all too sweet.

Team OBNOXIOUS MOTHERFUCKERS
On March 29th, 2006, Tails awakened to find Team Awesome had once again been blamed for the actions of a member acting on his own accord, this time by Yamamanama. Quick to respond, Tails created a LEGENDARY JOURNAL ENTRY (http://www.gamingforce.com/forums/journal.php?action=view&amount=single&userid=104&entryid=920) to address this bullshit, in which the popular consensus turned out to be that TA still rocks hardcore, and that Kensaki is a whiny faggot (who was later banned from the journal at the request of Lord Styphon). Although Yama eventually took back his statements, Qwarky still felt the need to CRY ABOUT THE INJUSTICE (http://www.gamingforce.com/forums/journal.php?action=view&amount=single&userid=16&entryid=923) of Team Awesome's... individual actions? We don't even know what he's talking about, so don't ask me.
It is also worth noting that Elixir served up a healthy serving of fucking ownage to Kensaki's FACE. Everyone laughed.

Team INFIGHTING
April 08th, 2006: #nwifi imploded in drama after Tails complained about TA members (particularly Devo) getting too comfortable with Zeal in #gfchat, prompting a retort from Colonel Skills regarding his "sanction" of Elixir. Tails left the conversation a while after, prompting Skills to make a journal entry (http://www.gamingforce.com/forums/journal.php?action=view&amount=single&userid=80&entryid=1640). When Tails woke up, he responded with another entry (http://www.gamingforce.com/forums/journal.php?action=view&amount=single&userid=104&entryid=1657), sparking off a round of comment drama with Devo.
Tails and CS then engaged in a brief edit war regarding the Team Awesome article, adding Elixir, Zeal and LeHah to the member roster at one point.
One day later, CS and Tails resolved their differences over the phone. Since then, everything has been peachy keen.
