Yearly Descriptions
2003:
- "Name us someone who helps other members, perhaps by fulfilling requests, guidng them around the forum, technical assistance, personal problems, just an all around helper who really does seem to put others above themselves. Really, it'd be much appreciated and helpful towards the completion of this category." -- Sword Serenity
Editors Note: Due to an unfortunate server crash, the 2005 award descriptions are unavailible.
2006:
- "Some people are there to help their fellow man. They'll happily answer any questions you might have, listen to any problems and do their darnedest to solve them, and you can always depend on to do their best to assist you in any way possible?
Which member will likely miss being presented with this award because they're busy helping little old ladies cross the street?" -- Lord Styphon
2007:
- "Computers eh? You'd think that in this day and age science would have produced a computer that just does what you want, when you want it to. Sadly though it seems that science is a fan of features and gimics over functionality and this leaves many of us scratching our heads trying to get our computer equipment to work properly. Hell, I struggle to even turn this thing on sometimes and I've got an IT degree...
Luckily for us, Gamingforce has a computing help forum, populated by a bunch of thoroughly clever chaps, some of whom are also rather helpful. It's these helpful souls that this award looks to celebrate. The member who wins this has proved themselves over the year to be worth several hundred pounds worth of computer helpline phone calls and have provided their help in a friendly, non-patronizing way. If you need help, and you can't find the A-Team, this member is surely your second choice." -- Shin
