Animosity and Forums at large

Criticisms

There are many criticisms that leads to the the animosity from the forum goers outside of the TCC forums.

Exchanges of Comments

This is a pervasive practice throughout the heydays of The Creator’s Café activity. In which when a Artist A post in Artist B’s dedicated art thread, the artist B in term would also say something nice in Artist A’s Art thread. This and combination of other criticisms, such as off topic discussions, and the perception of hypocrisies by the forums at large, lead to much dramas later on.

Elitisms

Like many of the art community on the web, there are few posters within it that received or pursuit traditional art education. Which results in majority of user base who are often unable to comment on each other’s artwork in a coherent manner using academic language. There are also an environment in which any skill level would receive praise in which some perceived are unwarranted. Usually when negative comments or criticism were posted, the user who post are sometimes accused of elitism. One of the most well known example during the heydays is Leviron (later known as Inspiron), who often post which some perceived as critical comments.

From my stand point, there were a lot of anomosity during the time when the Neighborhood watch was established, those are still only a preception and more opinions then facts. Feel free to correct any of parts. --Magi 16:28, 17 Oct 2005 (PDT)
