The Creators Cafe Award for Best Artist

Award formerly known as the 'Best Artist: Conventional and Digital Media' Award, was renamed in 2007 as part of the new initiative.

Given each year to the greatest artists on Gamingforce, this award showcases an individual users artistic prowess and creative ability.

2003:

"Who has skills with hand drawn art that blows you away?

2004:

"Inks, paints, brushes and canvas. Pencils, charcoal, crayons and markers. These represent the common tools of the conventional artist and many of our members have shown the ability to put them to exceptional use. Dazzling anime images, soft, gracious curves and wild, comical characters have all been spotted running through the Creator's Cafe.

If you aren't in the habit of browsing the collections, you're missing a smorgasbord for the eyes.

"Gamingforce's artists are a large and productive segment of the community. Not spending much time looking at what they produce, I can't say much beyond that.

2007:

"Anyone can pick up a pencil and draw but for some people, that ability develops into full on artistic talent. For others, that artistic flair manifests as skill with computer art packages or 3D modelling programmes. Anyway, there's some seriously talented artists here at Gamingforce and specifically, in The Creators Cafe. This award is for whoever you consider has shown themselves to be the best artist at GFF over the past year." -- Shin
