Award formerly known as the '"Mongolian Meatball" Award for Humor'. Renamed in 2007 as part of the new initiative.

"According to legend, there was once a guy named Nuos. This is what they say, I never met the fellow. Anyhow, Nuos was reported to be quite the amusing chap, saying such memorable things as...um...well, I don't know. That was quite a while ago and I'll be honest, everyone I asked about Nuos wasn't too clear on the details either. There was a lot of toes scraping in the dirt and the words "Mongolia" and "meatball" were echoed repeatedly, although I sure as hell don't know what the significance of either one is. But I don't wish to argue with legend, so I'm just gonna go on record as saying that Nuos was the funniest person in the history of everything and you will respect the man. That should cover me well enough.

Of course, Nuos went away and so did most everyone who seems to have known him. All that remains is this mysterious tradition of naming a category after the only two details we can remember about him: Mongolia and meatballs. What do they mean? Why are they funny? Where is Nuos now? I don't know! I just write these Award descriptions! LEAVE ME ALONE!
