Personality
orion_mk3 is the sort of person to rant and rail at a crowd, only to back off when a single voice answers back. He fancies himself a great wit, but most GFFers know better and pay him no mind.
Community Involvement
Beginning in late 2006, orion_mk3 took over the GFF thread maintenence for Song of the Week from Mo0. As such, with a few exceptions, he is responsible for creating the voting threads each week and updating the status as appropriate. In 2006-2007, he also helped Drakken out with the Best Chiptune Contest, compiling results threads for each brackets and doing some minor thread creation and maintenence. orion_mk3 dabbles occasionally in album reviews, and has started a fair number of threads in Album Comments.
Forum Activity
The majority of orion_mk3's posts are in General Game Music Discussion and related subforums in Gamingforce Audio like the Best Song Contests and the Best Chiptune Contest. He has been a consistent participant in Song of the Week as a nominator and voter, and prides himself on posting an opinion in (almost) every pairing in the BSC and BCC. orion is also moderately active in the Media Centre, and, thanks to War of the Words, the Creator's Cafe. He's also been known to leech and occasionally contribute in My Stuff and Audio Requests.
Incidentally, orion_mk3 was also the very first voter (http://www.gamingforce.com/gffarchive/showthread.php?t=50587) in SoTW history, way back in Week 01 (http://www.gamingforce.com/gffarchive/showthread.php?t=50587).
Drama
orion_mk3 tends to shy away from drama, though he occasionally generates some through poorly-thought-out rants. He is a noted and devoted orchestra-whore and choir-whore, and a fierce opponent of J-Pop and electric guitar noodling. This often brings him into conflict with members of the ROCKIN' voting bloc in SoTW, the BSC, and the BCC.
