Such was the mass hysteria generated by this one individual that for a lengthy duration, everyone was quoting from the book of Willy such immortal lines as "OMG !! LOL !!", requesting "A MIDI THAT ISN’T A MIDI" and "HALIOUS" to name but a few (note the trademark spacing, double exclamation marks and capitalisations).

Feeling guilty about setting Willy off the month before (read the drama section below) OctoberOmicron, with the help of Nuos and various others, organized the mad ambush of Willy on his birthday on April the 21st, 2001. The plan was for everyone to use his Yoshi avatar and wish him a happy birthday followed by (actions oddly reminiscent of Dinoteam) unlimited images of Yoshi found on the web to be posted in his thread throughout the day. In its first hour Willy's birthday thread had over 70 posts. Fortunately, Willy reacted well to the attention and didn't blow up again, as was feared. Much to the amusement of all, Willy couldn’t work out what all the fuss was about. This is perhaps the ultimate member tribute, which to this day has never been performed for any other member.

At one point Willy's sister Sandy had also been a member.

Drama

Apparently upset by board strife and drama. and ultimately being sent over the edge by OctoberOmicron repeatedly mocking Willy's style of writing, Willy Sunny created a rant thread filled with expletives, particularly "hate piss annoy". It turned out to be unintentionally hilarious, and the phrase "hate piss annoy" started appearing in the most random places, such as the filename of one of falkon2's MIDI creations.
