Biography
- Join date: July or August, 2001. After bobo opened the floodgates with a fresh incarnation of GFA, a mass flood of newbies joined the forums. Among these came Zephyrin.

A little backstory on the whole Zephyrin Ban incident:
Back in the day, there was a mod named Decker (previously known as Rockman). Decker and Zephyrin at the time lived reasonably close to one another. Zephyrin was not a mod, and Decker was. Decker fell asleep one night, permitting Zephyrin to browse under his account. In doing so, he came across much information in the Mod Hut, including personal contact information of most of the staff team and letters from OctoberOmicron who was presently in County Jail. These letters were mailed to Vertigo and were considered off-limits for your average GFFer. Zephyrin kept the Mod Hut contraband somehow and left Decker's at some point in 2002.
It is speculated that Zephyrin used the personal contact informatin to call a certain Tifa harassingly, who was part of staff at the time. He and Sassafrass also called A lurker at late hours, waking her up to receive the call. They admitted to this, and a_lurker dismissed their wrongdoings. Though no proof was ever presented for having called Tifa, a one-week ban was allotted for the nameless offense.
After his ban was up, there was a Community Meeting in IRC chat. A number of obnoxious events came to pass whereby sending both Sassafrass and Zephyrin into some sort of angry pout session. Zephyrin decided it would be a good idea to post the OO Letters just then to make some kind of point. Since these letters were a strict no-no for an average person like Zephyrin to have, he received a permaban.
Ever since 2002, Sassafrass had been contesting the ban. Finally, in mid-2005, Zephyrin was relieved of his permaban with much thanks to OctoberOmicron for writing a letter to staff explaining that he had forgiven and forgotten about Zeph's wrongdoings long ago.
